Brooklyn, NY - 15 April 2020. Worn and tattered corrugated bins which once held fruit in front of New Best Fruit and Vegetables on Flatbush Avenue sit empty in front of the shuttered store. Stores and restaurants near Brooklyn College in Brooklyn's Midwood Neighborhood close in response to orders for non-essential businesses to close. Some food businesses tried to remain open for takeout, but could not afford to, especially after the college closed.
