  • New York, NY - 11 November 2019. New York City's Veterans Day Parade, today marking the 100th anniversary of the armistice ending the fighting of the first World War, was attended by a number of people protesting President Trump, who spoke at the opening ceremony, and a smaller number of pro-Trump supporters. Sihns here include "Remove Trump" (with an image of someone removing chewing gum from the sole of a shoe), and "Thanks you veterans for our freedom."

  • Brooklyn, NY - 6 April 2020, An attendant at a laundromat in Brooklyn's Midwood neighborhood wears a sign on her back that reads "Keep Back / 6 Feet / Thank You" to remind patrons of social distancing standards. Laundromats are among the businesses deemed to be essential services, although some have closed for the outbreak.

  • 20 September 2019 - New York, NY.  Thousands of students as well as adults gathered in New York for the Global Climate Strike, meeting in Foley Square near the Federal Government buildings and New York's City Hall, and marching downtown to Battery Park, where Swedish climate activist and spokesperson Greta Thunberg addressed the crowd. Two signs are visible, one reading "We love you Greta you inspire us to act to stop the climate crisis. Thank you!", and the other "Make America Greta again!"

  • Participants in the 2011 Pride Parade on New York's fifth Avenue, with placards thanking Governor Cuomo. Cuomo was instrumental in legalizing gay marriage less that 2 days prior to the start of the parade.
